Pardus 23.0 Release Note
Pardus 23 “Ay Yıldız” is a special edition inspired by the crescent and star, one of Turkey’s national symbols. This version aims to offer its users the most up-to-date technology as well as ease of use with new applications, with its long-term support program and stable Linux 6.1 kernel version. Pardus Gnome Greeter, Padus Xfce Tweaks, Pardus Updater and many other innovations and conveniences that come with Pardus 23 “Ay Yıldız” are waiting for you.
Lightweight, Fast and Robust
XFCE 4.18 is used as the default desktop environment in Pardus 23 version. XFCE is a lightweight desktop environment for UNIX-like operating systems.
While being visually attractive and user-friendly, it aims to use low system resources and make the system fast.
System requirements:
- CPU (64bit architecture) -> Minimum: 1.0 Ghz, Recommended: 1.6 Ghz+
- RAM -> Minimum: 1024 MB, Recommended: 2 GB+
- Required Disk space -> Minimum: 8GB, Recommended: 10GB+
- Graphics processor capable of supporting at least 1024×768 resolution
